A HAND

FOR PEACE

A WEEK OF PRAYER

FROM

MISSION TOGETHER

INTRODUCTION

FOCUS: A celebration of the gift of peace and a call to pray for peace in the world.

ACTION: During the week of prayer it is suggested that each child, or each class, builds up a hand for peace. The children can start by drawing round their own hands to give a blank outline. The fingers of the hand are filled in on a daily basis. It is suggested the whole school or Key Stage groups come together at the end of the week for a final assembly and act of witness for peace.

DISPLAY:  Globe/map, Bible, Mission Together candle with dove of peace.
