Today Esther who lives in Uganda, Africa, calls for
friendship. Here is her message.

I was kidnapped by rebels
with 138 of my friends from school, in the middle of the night.
The rebels forced us to kill people with guns. 1 escaped in the
middle of a fight. I feel very sad because many of my friends are
still held by rebels. I want them to be free to live in peace. Will
you help?

We can learn from the
children in Albania. Here is their message. |
| SPEAKER |
We
were tired of war in our country. Many children had become orphans.
We prayed to God to send peace. We said that we wanted to live in a
place where there were no guns. We asked our parents to hand over
their weapons. Then these were melted down and changed into a big
peace bell. We went on a march with our bell all over our country.
Now the bell rings out every where and calls people to live in
peace.
